DESCRIPTION

Valley Manor is a dynamic and progressive Long-Term Care Home. We are a rural, fully Accredited facility, offering quality nursing care in a friendly & welcoming environment.  We are committed to the safety of our residents and to compliance with the LTCHA legislation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Current Personal Support Worker Certificate

Developmental Service Worker Certificate

Vulnerable Sector Check valid within the last 6 months or can obtain one

Duties

Provide resident care in accordance with administrative policies, physician's orders and established standards, and LTC legislation and Regulations
Assist with training of nursing personnel
Responsible for proper care of equipment
Assist with admission, transfer/discharge of a resident
Commitment to providing resident-focused care in a long-term care setting
Current CPR certification
Experience with Point-Click-Care and electronic MAR is an asset
Completes Mandatory Education as assigned, and has a desire for ongoing learning
Attends Staff Meetings and any other related duties
