DESCRIPTION:
Valley Manor is a dynamic and progressive Long-Term Care Home. We are a rural, fully Accredited facility, offering quality nursing care in a friendly & welcoming environment. We are committed to the safety of our residents and to compliance with the FLTCA legislation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in large quantity food preparation, preferably in Health Care setting
- Must have leadership ability and be able to direct the dietary department in the absence of the Support Services Manager
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Solid communication skills, basic computer skills
- Proven organizational and time management skills
- General physical wellness, and ability to stand, lift, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable of the Ontario Food premise Regulation, Food Safety Code of Practice and Canada’s Food Guide to Healthy Living
- Must maintain up to date certification in the Food Safety Awareness program offered by Public Health
