Who is eligible? ~

• Seniors living in the community who would benefit from a structured social setting.
• Seniors who are under the regular care of a physician.

Our primary goals are ~

• To provide seniors living in Barry's Bay and surrounding communities with a variety of structured social, recreational, spiritual and physical activities.
• To promote independence and increase self-esteem to maximize the client's full potential.
• To provide relief, free time and support for caregivers.
• To assist clients to remain living in the community for as long as possible.

	Our program offers ~ Structured physically and mentally stimulating activities. Social interaction and companionship. Preventative health care (blood pressure/weight checks). Supervision of medication. Refreshments and lunch. Hairdressing and Foot Care services can be arranged by appointment.
The Day Centre room consists of a lounge area with a television, plus a kitchen area. Residents of Valley Manor are also encouraged to use the facilities.

Transportation

Clients are encouraged to provide their own transportation or arrangements can be made with the Barry's Bay & Area Senior Home Support Program [Telephone: (613) 756-2772].

Program Fees

The cost of $12.00 per day includes nutritious meals & snacks and stimulating activities in a healthy and safe environment.

Days/Hours of Operation

Flexible hours are available on Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
